Front-end Engineer

We are In2event and we help customers worldwide to organize their events faster and more efficiently. To maintain our rapid growth, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Front-end Engineer (32-40 hours).

As a Front-end Engineer at In2event your days will be diverse, collaborating closely with a team of talented engineers and designers. At In2event, we value autonomy and initiative, offering a flexible work environment where you can thrive.

What you will work on

  • Developing new features and improvements for our platform;
  • Solving support issues and bugs;
  • Setting up hardware devices for our clients (scanners, printers and kiosk screens);
  • Making improvements and shipping updates to our mobile apps.

What you need for the job

  • Around 4+ years of experience as a front-end engineer in a professional environment;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. You can present your work to team members and stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner;
  • Proactive attitude in suggesting new ideas and improvements;
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently with front-end and back-end engineers, UX designers, and account managers;
  • Strong ability to think in solutions, not in problems. You provide insights and offer advise to cross-functional teams and occasionally jump in to help with support issues;
  • A keen eye for detail and a good understanding of user experience and interaction patterns;
  • Capability to handle several projects simultaneously and efficiently manage your time by prioritising tasks based on importance and urgency;
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of the English language (both verbally and written);
  • You live in The Netherlands (no visa sponsorship available);

This role is in a hybrid / on-site setting in The Netherlands. Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship.

Interview Process

Initial 15-minute Call
We will schedule a 15-minute call to get a first impression and assess whether there is a potential fit for the role.

Round 1: In-depth interview (60–90 minutes)
In the first official interview we will dive deeper into the your experience, problem-solving skills, and company fit. We will also tell you more about In2event and our product.

Round 2: Case study assignment (60 minutes)
We will plan a live case study assignment to assess your skills in decision making, prioritisation, collaboration, communication, and technical understanding.

Round 3: Final Interview & Offer (45–60 minutes)
During the final interview we will discuss any remaining questions or concerns and will make you an offer.
