In2event respects your personal data and we make sure all the personal data that is provided to us is treated confidentially. Personal data consists of any information that could lead back to a person, including data that indirectly says something about someone. This privacy statement will explain it all to you.
What do we do?
In2Event is an online product that enables event organisers to communicate with it?s suppliers and eventually with all others that are involved with the event. Through the organiser, the persons involved receive an invitation to use In2event. It?s up to those people to provide their personal data. Organisers and suppliers can also register for the newsletter or other forms of communication of In2event.
Which data do we process and why?
As soon as you leave your data on our website, for example for a demo request, your data will be stored in our system so that we can provide you with the requested services. As far as the client of In2event is concerned, we process personal data to offer our services. But also so that we can inform you of changes to our services and products, for (financial) administration and for marketing and communication purposes.
In most cases we are the processor of personal data for which an other party (usually the organiser or supplier) is responsible. We only process personal data on behalf of the organiser or supplier, because these have been provided by you or have been made known to us by third parties or have become known through public sources. In these cases In2event is the processor of the data but the organiser and/or supplier remain responsible according to the GDPR.
The online environment of In2event is designed in such a way so that you only have to fill in the the data we actually need for providing the complete functionality of the product. This data consists of your name, e-mail and phone number. As a rule, it is not necessary to provide more data than that. The organiser or supplier can request additional personal data, but only when they have a good reason for doing so. For example, when the local authorities demand this from the organiser and / or the supplier.
Purposes for processing vary. We process data in particular on the basis of the execution of an agreement, obtained permission from the person(s) involved, a legitimate interest or a legal obligation.
Is personal data shared with third parties?
In2event only shares your personal data with third parties when its absolutely necessary for providing the services with due observance of the previously stated purposes. Third parties that process data on behalf of In2event have to sign data processing agreements whereby these third parties are also obliged to comply with the rules stated in the GDPR. Third parties engaged by In2event, who qualify as controller, are responsible for compliance with the GDPR for the (further) processing of your personal data.
Which security measures have been taken?
In2event highly values securing and protecting your data and provides suitable technical and organisational measures to prevent the risk of a data leak. As far as third parties are used, In2event makes sure that good agreements on securing personal are made with the those parties.
For what period of time is personal data saved?
Personal data that is processed will not be stored longer than absolutely necessary. Processed data will be encrypted and made anonymous after three years, with the exception of when the involved party gives In2event permission to store the data for a longer period of time.
How can I view my data, change or delete them?
You can request to an make a request for inspection, correction, limitation or removal of your personal data or withdraw your prior consent. You can also object to the processing of your personal data. Request can be sent to lisanne@in2event.com. You will receive a response within two weeks.
Please be aware that there may be reasons to reject the request, for example because we have to comply with a legal obligation.
What about social media?
The In2event website includes buttons or links to promote web pages or share on social media such as Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook. In2Event does not monitor nor is it responsible for processing data through and by these third parties. The use of these media is therefore at own expense and risk. We recommend that you first read the privacy statement of that party before you use those services.
Do you use cookies?
Yes, we use technical, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a little text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the In2event product, the website and your ease of use.
We use it for statistical purposes and to optimize the user-friendliness of our website and services. These data are in principle anonymous and are not resold to third parties.
